The caster may communicate telepathically with any creature she is aware of within range, assuming they have a common language.
Creatures communicated with may respond telepathically if they wish. There is a 30% chance a random alien entity beyond the Veil intrudes on the joining, asking questions, sharing its thoughts or emotions (GM discretion).
The spell is blocked by a thin sheet of lead, or stone or wood more than 1 ft thick.
